A professional inspection to assess signs of damp and moisture within the property.

The survey is non-intrusive meaning that skirting boards, flooring and other parts of the property are not removed or damaged during the inspection.

Where access is available, observations are also made within loft spaces, cellars and basements.

£100 deposit required to secure your appointment. 

£150 balance payable before release of the completed report.

 

Pre-Purchase Damp Survey - £375

A £100 deposit is required to secure your appointment, with the remaining £150 payable before the completed report is released.

How much does a pre-purchase damp survey cost?

Our Non-intrusive Pre-Purchase Damp Survey costs £375.

A £100 deposit is required to secure your appointment, with the remaining £275 payable before the completed report is released.

How do i book a survey?

You can book online by selecting your preferred survey, choosing an available date and time, and paying the £100 deposit securely online.

Your appointment is confirmed once the deposit has been successfully received.

Will you remove skirting boards or flooring?

No. Our standard surveys are non-intrusive. We do not remove or damage skirting boards, flooring or other parts of the property as part of the inspection.

When will i receive my report?

Following the survey, your report will be prepared and the outstanding balance will be requested. The completed report will be released once the outstanding balance has been paid.

All surveys are carried out by Peter Smith, Damp Surveyor, of Professional Estate Services.

Peter has years of experience in the building and construction industry and is a member of the Federation of Damp Certified Surveyors (FODCS) and City & Guilds Assured.
